An episode of “Succession” about the death of the fictional family patriarch Logan Roy reportedly caused Murdoch’s children to hold the discussions.

The family is set to battle in a private court over the future of their billion-dollar empire this week.

Mr Murdoch married retired Russian molecular biologist Elena Zhukova, 67, on Saturday.
