Here's the latest weather forecast for the West Country with Charlie Powell

Dry for most of us this evening and overnight but still largely cloudy, with the ongoing chance of a few light showers, especially in south Devon and Cornwall. The cloud preventing a frost, with temperatures down to around 3 °C.

Very similar weather on Wednesday, with plenty of cloud and perhaps a few more light showers creeping inland across the south of the region. Brief sunny intervals may occur downwind of hills and the Moors. Winds slightly lighter but temperatures slightly lower at around 7 to 8 °C.

High pressure will stay put for the rest of the week, maintaining a largely dry and often cloudy picture. The odd bit of sunshine is possible, along with a couple of light showers. Lighter winds will increase the chance of overnight frost and fog too.
